I don't normally enter competitions, but the Guild of Photographers have monthly competition rounds where the aim is to achieve good standards of professional work and each image is graded against a set of criteria. The panel of judges are all recognised experts from a variety of photographic backgrounds with many years of experience between them and they use an internationally recognised scoring system. I entered for the first time in January.
I was pleased to hear that I had been awarded two bronze bars. Bronze bars are given to images that are of a strong standard at professional level. My bronze bar winning images are below.
I'm really enjoying being part of the Guild of Photographers. As well as a friendly network of other photographers across the UK, Guild members pledge themselves to delivering the highest standards of customer service and to a journey of continuing professional development.
Hi and welcome to my blog. I'm a Northern Ireland Wedding Photographer and I also do family photography and a little bit of commercial photography. You may even find some pet photography here! My blog posts are mostly about people and events I've photographed. Feel free to have a browse and comment if you want. :-)
